Another Noble House

Now, that I haven't finished the book. I still want to know how did it end. Since I don't want to sift through the pages, I thought to watch the DVD version. It is a miniseries with no other than Pierce Brosnan as the Tai-Pan Ian Dunross. It was made in the late 1980's, year before his pre-James Bond years.

Pierce Brosnan already looked dashing in a tuxedo. He made this drama after he was initially turned down for the James Bond role since he was still tied up with Remington Steele. The role went to Timothy Dalton.
