Pre-Christmas Events 2011

The Wine Swap
The folks at the office came up the idea of doing a more grown-up take on the Yankee swap. Instead of getting general gifts they decided to have it as a combo of wine and cheese. The purpose was to get rid of their least favorite wine and swap it with something better.

The handful of wine bags up for grabs at the conference room. Mine was the big red Target recyclable bag with the bottle silhouette. I am swapping my Kendall-Jackson Chardonnay and a hunk of Brie cheese.

And ET voila, the loot that I got from the swap. An Oyster Bay Chardonnay and a Tomato and Olive Monterrey Jack Cheese. Both will be handy by Christmas time.

The Christmas Sing
We are all excited on Madison's School presentation. This is the first time we are watching her along with the rest of her schoolmates.
The event started on time and took only about 15 minutes, long enough for the 2-4 year olds attention span. I am not really expecting anything but enjoyed the whole presentation. Those teachers really did a good job rehearsing those kids.

Madison is in the middle next to the tall girl in a white shirt. The video is a bit shaky. This is the best zoom I could get.

Then we have the customary photo op after the event.

Maddie with her Aunts.

With Santa.
With Mommy Grandma. (I am not sure how she came up with that. It's how she distinguish her grandparents.)

We don't have much planned during the holidays. We always have been low key celebrating the major holidays. Our celebration had always been around family, food and often times liquor. It would be the best time to finish both white and red wines from South Korea.

Happy Holidays Everyone!!
