Museum Mile 2008 Part 3 - New York City

The night before I caught on an old movie re-run in tribute to Sydney Pollack. The movie Three Days of the Condor was showing. I got to the part when Robert Redford's character was advised not to go back to his place and go somewhere else to hide. He ended up running over north to Central Park then walked through a museum. I could tell it was the Guggenheim based on the background. I was proud of myself to be able to point the place it was shot. Mind you this movie was made in 1975. I was surprised that the building was in existence at that time.

As I walked over to 89th St, the Guggenheim Museum is under scaffolding. It is under renovation. Where is the famous beehive structure? BUMMER!
