Day 7: The Grove, Los Angeles

92 degrees.

Places visited: The Grove and Farmers Market

We were up to do some sightseeing in the area. The first stop was the Chowking in the Eagle Rock area. I was surprised to find that not only Jollibee and Chowking in the same place but Goldilocks was a few doors down and a Bench store in front of it. Hurray, for the Pinoy town.

After lunch, the next stop was the famous Farmers Market. It is located next to the CBS station. One thing I like about this place was the clustered stores in the food court. There were some interesting food finds. There was a Brazilian buffet, a Cajun gumbo meal, and a French Crepe place.

J decided to try the crepe at the French Company. He got the tropical one. It is the usual crepe with Nutella and a mixture of tropical fruits, banana, strawberry and kiwi. It so good that I want to go back there for another one.

We walked over to the Grove. It is just a long block of staple stores that you would see in a mall, well, except for Barneys. It also has a movie theatre located in front of the fountain.

I will be back to the Farmers Market so I can try that seafood gumbo at the Cajun place.
