Myrtle Beach, SC 2009

After a spending a couple of hot days in Florida, we made a detour to Myrtle Beach. It is a popular beach town where most people come and play golf. There seem to be an abundance of retirement communities and golf courses here. The beach, the sun and golf sounds like a perfect combination of a serene lifestyle.

We stayed at one of our timeshare, so far this seem to be one of the biggest property they have second to the one in Orlando. Joe seem to like the area better. I think because the beach is milder than the one in Florida. No matter how far you are from the shore, the water doesn't get that deep. It has fine sand and has adequate waves perfect for body surfing, mild enough for toddlers. See how Madison love to frolick on its fine sands.

INDOORS

I love the color palette on this bathroom.

OUTDOORS

This place has four buildings on the ocean side and another one across the street.

Each building has a swimming pool. It is easy to get lost here.

THE BEACH

The chairs are not part of the resort. Those are rentals owned by the township.

Those sand gets raked in the morning.

The fine sands of Myrtle Beach, North Carolina.

I just love this photo! A good Dada and Maddie moment.

Also, I noticed while ordering Chinese food from a random take out place, the menu has a Filipino translation. There probably a sizable Filipino community in the area.
