New Jersey Nets - Rutherford, NJ

Its been a while since I saw the Nets played live from the IZOD Center. The disastrous loss from last season and J Kidd's transfer to the Dallas Mavericks, its never going to be the same again.

What enticed me this time was the fact that Allen Iverson got traded to Detroit Pistons and this game was his first debut. Historic? Nah. There was a 2 for 1 sale for the game tickets. And I had great seats!

My mind has started to wonder on the first quarter while the Pistons are creaming the Nets by scoring by 16 points over.

My attention was diverted to the guys that had courtside seating. They were supposed to be the media trying to cover the game. After the half time break, I was able to wonder on the media isle. In the edge of the long table, it has the writer's name and the company they work for. I noticed that the recognizable institutions like the local papers to ESPN are the ones closer to the court. Ah, things we do for work!

Want to share some photos since we got good seats. Its good enough to get really close to AI and Rasheed Wallace while warming up during half time.

The game picked up and by the 3rd quarter, Nets had their first lead. Eventually, they won by 7 points. So, maybe the Nets do have a chance afterall.

Like what the dude behind me said, " Jason (Kidd) who?"

My thoughts exactly!
