Thursday
We have to check out at our hotel and move to the time share at Waikiki Beachwalk area. This has posed a problem when we were in the process of coordinating our trip, no available units for the first 4 days of our stay. We ended taking up a sub par hotel room in Waikiki Central. We got a 2 bedroom but unfortunately 1 bathroom located in the Masters bedroom. It was a difficult set up when you need to use the bathroom in the middle of the night with the lights off.
We saved the best for last. It was a pleasure to move in when we saw how our accommodations look like for the next 3 days. This time we have a 2 bedroom and a 2 bathroom unit complete with a kitchen and a living room.
The master's bedroom.
Did I mention the unit has a washer and dryer? Sweet!
To save money on parking, Joe has to walk 3 blocks and find a spot at Ala Wai Canal area. It is where the locals park their cars after hours.
The day was spent shopping at Ala Moana Center and end our day on a swim at Ko'Olina lagoon. Read about my previous Ala Moana Center entry here.
The last time we were at Ko'Olina we missed the chapel. This time we were lucky enough that there was a wedding that day so we were able to slip in the air conditioned chapel and be able take photos. And it never fail, being inside the chapel is like being inside a jewel box.

We ended the day watching the sunset and met some friends that live in the area. Afterwards, we all agreed for a quick dinner at a nearby Zippy's. We will see them again on Saturday for a cookout.
