Colonial Williamsburg, the Orientation

Before I post all the photos of colonial structures, I want to go through the Colonial Williamsburg (CW) visitors center. If you happen to stop by, this will be your major starting point before heading over to the Historic area.

Plaques and commemorations for the generous sponsors.

Inside the visitors center was the costume rental area. It is not unusual to walk around the Historic area in colonial costumes. Actually, I find it cute that most girls look adorable wearing those bonnets.

The waiting area for the shuttle that would take you to the Historic area or to Jamestown area.

Staying 2 days at Williamsburg barely scratch the surface. Somebody told me that the Historic area is a totally different experience during the Christmas season. This will be on my to do list for the future.

Next post would be the colonial structures of the Historic Area.
