Romanian Fest - New York, NY

As I indicated my disappointment from the Romanian Festival on finding anything Romanian, I took some random photos of items seen at the street fair.

Some veggie fare. Spinich, anyone?

For the carnivores.

For folks who had the sweet tooth.

And now, my favorite....the spice and tea stall.

An aluminum contrainer like the one below is $7.

I was intrigued and bought the "Dancing Geisha" tea, it consists of green tea, coconut and dried pineapple. I tried to brew it that night, I barely tasted the green tea/pinapple but the coconut flavor is really strong. I am not a fan of anything with coconut.

Seriously, Jungle fever?

Photos taken at the Romanian Festival 2010, Broadway and Battery Park.
